The invention discloses a traffic index and motor vehicle pollutant emission coupling analysis method, which comprises the steps of: step 101, calculating motor vehicle second-by-second specific power according to acquired second-by-second speed data when a vehicle is driving, wherein the motor vehicle second-by-second specific power refers to power output by an engine when moving a ton of mass; step 102, dividing motor vehicle specific power VSP into different interval units according to a certain interval, defining each interval unit as a Bin, and calculating an average emission ratio under each Bin; and clustering the average emission ratio under each Bin obtained through calculation based on a set integration granularity, and acquiring emission factors to obtain motor vehicle specific power distribution condition of a motor vehicle in different speed intervals. The traffic index and motor vehicle pollutant emission coupling analysis method provided by the invention is a motor vehicle pollutant emission analysis method associated with traffic index, achieves the correction of motor vehicle emission ratio of different resolution ratios from different sources, and offers support for making traffic environmental objectives as well as pollution and congestion treatment integrated traffic policy in urban traffic planning.
