The invention provides a lifting part for an elevator and belongs to the field of elevator equipment. The lifting part is designed for solving the problem that the service life of an existing lifting part for the elevator is short. The lifting part is of a belt-shaped structure formed by wrapping tensile bodies with a coating material. The tensile bodies extend in the length direction of the belt-shaped structure, and the length of the tensile bodies is not smaller than that of the belt-shaped structure. The multiple tensile bodies can be arranged in the width direction of the belt-shaped structure and are non-linearly arranged in the width direction of the belt-shaped structure. According to the lifting part for the elevator, the density of the tensile bodies can be set according to different stress conditions of the tensile bodies on the width of the belt-shaped structure, it is ensured that stress of the tensile bodies at all positions is even or the service life of the tensile bodies at different positions is the same relative to the stress of the positions, and the situation that a certain or several certain tensile bodies are subjected to earlier wire breaking is avoided.
