The climbing robot with the elastic supporting driving mechanism comprises a robot body, a steering mechanism, a driving mechanism and a controller. The robot body comprises a head, a body and a tail. The head and the body are connected through a first supporting arm, and the body and the tail are connected through a second supporting arm. The driving mechanism is arranged in the tail and comprises a third motor, a screw, a sliding block and a tail fixing ring.
