The invention discloses a cylindrical suspension device for an electric permanent magnet maglev train. The electric permanent magnet maglev train can be suspended statically with high comfort. The cylindrical suspension device comprises a cylindrical permanent magnet module set arranged on the maglev train and a cylindrical guide rail matched with the cylindrical permanent magnet module set. In the train, the cylindrical permanent magnet module set is composed of two cylindrical permanent magnets; and two cylindrical permanent magnet modules are symmetrically arranged at the front end and the rear end of the train, the cylindrical permanent magnet module at each end is installed on an output shaft of a rotary motor, and the output shafts of the rotary motors coincide with the geometric centers of the cylindrical permanent magnet modules. By the adoption of the structure, the electric permanent magnet maglev train can be suspended statically, the guide rail with a cylindrical guide groove can provide a force to balance the resultant force of the gravity and the centrifugal force of a train body when the train passes a curve, and in other words suspension force and guide force are provided at the same time.
