The invention provides an automatic reversing carrying vehicle. The automatic reversing carrying vehicle is composed of a front reversing mechanism and a rear reversing mechanism, and the front reversing mechanism and the rear reversing mechanism respectively comprises a motor, two trough type sensors, a support, a connecting rod mechanism, two universal wheel assemblies and the like, wherein the motor is connected with the support, the two trough type sensors are connected with the support, the support is connected with the connecting rod mechanism, and the connecting rod mechanism is connected with or separated from chucks on the universal wheel assemblies, so that AGV reversing function is realized; and compared with other structures or devices, directional-universal switching is realized by adopting the connecting rod mechanism and a modified universal wheel, so that smooth reversing is realized, adaptability of the automatic reversing carrying vehicle is stronger, and application range is wider.
