The invention discloses a kinetic energy storage converter, which comprises a frame body, wherein a driving wheel is rotatably arranged on the frame body; a braking gear and a driving gear are arranged on a driving shaft of the driving wheel at an interval; a driven shaft is also rotatably arranged on the frame body at the front side of the driving shaft; a crimped spring is arranged in the middle of the driven shaft; an inner ring of the crimped spring is fixed on the driven shaft; an outer ring of the crimped spring is fixed on a fixed shaft on the frame body; a braking big gear and a driving small gear are also respectively arranged at the left side and the right side of the crimped spring; a braking clutch gear is arranged on the frame body between the braking big gear and the braking gear at the left side; the braking clutch gear is mutually meshed with the braking big gear and the braking gear when in operation; a driving clutch gear and a transition gear are arranged on the frame body between the driving small gear and the driving gear at the right side; the driving clutch gear is mutually meshed with the driving small gear; the transition gear is mutually meshed with the driving small gear and the driving gear at the right side. According to the kinetic energy storage converter provided by the invention, the storage and the reutilization of kinetic energy can be repeatedly utilized again and again.
