The invention discloses a light-weight vehicle body. The light-weight vehicle body comprises a wrapping frame, front wall supporting columns, middle supporting columns, doorsills, front and back vehicle doors, a front anti-collision beam and a floor. The wrapping frame is made of an ultrahigh-strength steel material and comprises a steering column transverse beam, a top cover transverse beam, a back supporting column and a back wall plate, and the steering column transverse beam, the top cover transverse beam, the back supporting column and the back wall plate form a rigid annular structure. The front wall supporting columns, the middle supporting columns and the doorsills form a cage type structure, and the cage-type structure is made of a thermal molding steel material. The front and back vehicle doors are made of laser tailor welded blanks. The front anti-collision beam is made of an aluminum alloy material. The floor is made of a soft steel material, and the thickness of the floor is smaller than or equal to 0.5 mm. According to the light-weight vehicle body, as weight use efficiency is improved, and thermal molding boron steel, the laser tailor welded blanks and aluminum alloy extruded sections are applied, the thickness of the parts is reduced, the number of related parts is decreased, material consumption of the related parts is reduced, the material thickness of the floor is reduced, and the weight of the light-weight vehicle body is reduced; meanwhile, the performance of the vehicle body is improved, and the cost of the vehicle body is well controlled.
