The invention relates to a traffic guidance method at a traffic crossing. The method is characterized by comprising the following steps: a dynamic speed limit indicating device is installed away from a traffic crossing for a certain distance; the dynamic speed limit indicating device synchronously obtains traffic light period information of a traffic light control system of the traffic crossing; and the dynamic speed limit indicating device calculates a dynamic indicating speed in real time according to the traffic light period information and displays the dynamic indicating speed. The method sets a speed limit region and calculates and displays the dynamic indicating speed according to the traffic light period information. A vehicle only needs to drive according to the speed indicated by the dynamic speed limit indicating device and can arrive at and quick pass the traffic crossing at the time of the green light for sure. The whole process includes controlling the speed, driving to the traffic crossing at a uniform speed, and accelerating to drive away from the traffic crossing. As parking and waiting are avoided, the average speed for the vehicle to pass the traffic crossing is greatly improved. Within a limited time of the green light, more vehicles can pass the traffic crossing, so that the passing efficiency of the whole traffic crossing is effectively improved.
