The invention provides a high-strength lifting part for an elevator, belongs to the field of elevator equipment and aims to solve the problems such as an unstable structure, low tensile strength and the like of an current lifting part for the elevator. The lifting part is a belt-shaped structure which is formed by coating tensile bodies with a coating material; the tensile bodies extend in a length direction of the belt-shaped structure, and a plurality of arrays of the tensile bodies are arranged in a width direction of the belt-shaped structure; each tensile body is a surface contact steel wire rope formed by twisting a steel wire, or simultaneously comprises a surface contact steel wire rope and a line contact steel wire rope, or simultaneously comprises a surface contact steel wire rope, a line contact steel wire rope and a point contact steel wire rope. According to the high-strength lifting part, strength of the lifting part can be guaranteed according to the practical needs by using the surface contact steel wire rope or reasonably arranging the surface contact steel wire rope and other two steel wire ropes; besides, binding force is effectively prevented from being weakened by concentrated stress due to the fact that the surface contact steel wire rope and the coating material are in surface contact.
