The invention discloses an environment-friendly vehicle single-engine system which comprises an engine. The output end of the engine is connected with the input end of a power take-off device. The output end of the power take-off device is connected with a clutch and the input end of an electric generator. The clutch is connected with a gearbox. The gearbox is connected with a transmission mechanism. The output end of the electric generator is electrically connected with a current converter and the input end of a charger. The output end of the charger is electrically connected with the input end of the storage battery. The output end of the storage battery is electrically connected with the input end of the current converter. According to the environment-friendly vehicle single-engine system, dual engines are changed into the single engine, so that energy consumption is lowered, the engine utilization rate is increased, the cost is lowered, the discharge amount is small, noise is low, the problems of oil consumption and disturbance of residents are solved, and the environment-friendly vehicle single-engine system sufficiently solves the problem that an existing dual-engine system is low in utilization rate, high in cost and discharge amount, large in noise and high in oil consumption.
