The invention discloses an automobile driver early warning device based on bridge opening ponding water. The main idea is that existence of ponding water of a bridge opening pavement is detected in real time via a ponding water measuring unit, bridge opening pavement information is acquired in real time via an early warning work module, and pavement ponding water level information of the present moment is acquired based on the bridge opening pavement information; ponding water level of the bridge opening pavement is detected in real time via a water level sensor and transmitted to an analysis judgment module; existence of ponding water within the set distance in front of an automobile is detected in real time via an infrared range finding camera; and the analysis judgment module triggers a microprocessor when acquiring that the automobile is not suitable for passing through at the present moment via the set automobile model built-in wading passing height, and the microprocessor transmits ponding water level of the bridge opening pavement of the present moment to a water level identification receiver and triggers a buzzer alerter. The water level identification receiver is used for giving prompting information to an automobile driver in real time, and voice prompting is transmitted to the automobile driver via the buzzer alerter so that the automobile is enabled to be driven safely in the bridge opening.
