The invention provides a traffic control system based on vehicle-road cooperation, and belongs to the technical field of communication. The traffic control system based on vehicle-road cooperation comprises a GPS module, in-vehicle short-distance communication modules, an intersection communication module and an intersection service scheduling module, wherein the GPS module is used for positioning vehicles to obtain position information of the vehicles, the in-vehicle short-distance communication modules are used for transmitting the position information of the corresponding vehicles to in-vehicle short-distance communication modules of surrounding vehicles, the intersection communication module is used for receiving the vehicle position information transmitted by the in-vehicle short-distance communication modules in all the vehicles at intersections in real time, and the intersection service dispatching module is used for controlling the communication condition of the vehicles at all the intersections according to the vehicle position information received by the intersection communication module in real time. Compared with a traditional traffic light system, according to the traffic control system based on vehicle-road cooperation, an intersection passing system based on wireless communication information is not influenced by roads or weather or environments, and can accurately inform drivers to take corresponding actions in real time so that the vehicles can scenically, accurately and safely pass through the intersections.
