The invention provides a transfer trolley for the steel material. The transfer trolley comprises a bearing frame and a bearing bracket. The above two parts, namely the bearing frame and the bearing bracket, are spaced apart from each other. The bearing bracket is provided with a forklift insertion port. The trolley bottom of the bearing frame is connected with the shaft of a wheel via a revolute pair. The bearing bracket is provided with a circular tube bearing cross beam. The forklift insertion port is formed between the support legs of the bearing bracket. The revolute pair is in the form of a bulb-type universal joint. Compared with the prior art, the above transfer trolley has three advantages. Firstly, the bearing frame and the bearing bracket are two mutually separated parts and are positioned at the two ends of the steel material respectively, thus being applicable to the steel material of any length. Secondly, the revolute pair is in the form of the bulb-type universal joint, and the center thereof is deviated from the center of the wheel. In this way, the steering function of the wheel, together with the steering operation of the bearing bracket, is realized. Thirdly, the bearing bracket is provided with the circular tube bearing cross beam. Based on the design of the circular tube, during the up-and-down motion along a slope, the angle formed between the steel material and the circular tube bearing cross beam can be automatically adapted to the gradient of the slope.
