The invention discloses a method, a device and a server for predicting road conditions. The method comprises the steps of monitoring vehicle running parameters of a vehicle in running, and reporting the vehicle running parameters to the server; and receiving road condition information, which is analyzed and predicted by the server according to the vehicle running parameters, of a currently running road section of the vehicle, and outputting and displaying the road condition information. According to the embodiment of the invention, conditions of being congested, smooth or to-be-congested or the like of the road section can be predicted accurately and timely according to the reported vehicle running parameters, thereby being convenient for a driver to select an optimal travel path according to corresponding road condition information, effectively avoiding a road section which is about to be congested and selecting a smooth road section, and providing great convenience for travel of people.
