The invention discloses an electric transmission system of a dual-power metro grinding car. The electric transmission system comprises a high-voltage electric appliance box, an electric reactor, a traction inverter, a traction motor, an auxiliary power generator, a three-phase rectifier cabinet, a grinding inverter and a grinding device, wherein power can be supplied to the traction motor and the grinding inverter through a contact grid, or power can be supplied to the traction motor and the grinding device through the auxiliary power generator. The invention further provides a power switching method for the dual-power metro grinding car. According to the method, seamless switching of the power supply between the contact grid and the auxiliary power generator can be realized. The electric transmission system has the advantages of being convenient to maintain, lower in energy consumption and pollution, and friendly to the environment; the power switching method has the advantages that the dual-power metro grinding car needs not to be shut down in the switching process, the flexibility and the convenience are guaranteed, the voltage is kept stable during the switching of the power supply, and the normal operation of the dual-power metro grinding car is not impacted.
