The invention provides a muck truck front underrun pedestrian protective system which comprises a collision sensor, an electronic control system, a gas generator, a pneumatic actuator and a movement mechanism, wherein the crash sensor is used for detecting collision, generating a collision signal, and sending the collision signal to the electronic control system; the electronic control system is used for analyzing the collision signal, judging whether a frontal car-pedestrian collision accident occurs or not, and sending an activating signal to the gas generator if the fact that the accident occurs is judged; an explosive material is arranged in the gas generator, and the gas generator is used for triggering the explosive material to explode to generate gases according to the activating signal; the pneumatic actuator is used for actuating the movement mechanism to open through the gases, so as to enable an FUPD (front underrun protective device) beam of the movement mechanism to move to the front underrun part of the slag car. According to the muck truck front underrun pedestrian protective system, a collided non-motor vehicle driver or pedestrians can be protected during the frontal car-pedestrian collision accident, and the structure form of the movement mechanism can meet the performance requirements during collision.
