The invention discloses a bus passenger flow corridor discriminating method, comprising the following steps: (1) determining a bus passenger flow corridor and a direction thereof according to bus OD (Original Destination); (2) preliminarily definitely searching a path of a passenger flow corridor supporting road in the passenger flow corridor direction to obtain a bus passenger flow corridor supporting road, and assigning the bus OD to the bus passenger flow corridor supporting road; and (3) judging whether the passenger flow is abnormal according to the traffic load after the bus passenger flow corridor supporting road is assigned secondarily and the direction of the bus corridor; when the passenger flow assignment results have two abnormal passenger flow problems including insufficient flow on some bus passenger flow corridors and over high flow on non-bus passenger flow corridor sections, readjusting the passenger flow corridor; when abnormal passenger flow does not exist, obtaining a final bus passenger flow corridor. The bus passenger flow corridor is discriminated according to the distribution characteristic of the bus OD, so that the method can support the generation of large and medium urban public traffic route schemes.
