The invention discloses an intelligent traffic anti-collision system based on a short range information unit, which relates to an intelligent traffic system and aims at solving the technical problems that the existing anti-collision system has a small information acquisition range, and the cloud intelligent traffic service and the wireless technology are poor in practical experience and have hidden safety dangers and the like. The system, in the structure, comprises a sensor, a vehicle data bus, a remote information communication unit, and a visible light short range signal transceiver, wherein the sensor detects a vehicle state signal and outputs a feedback signal; the vehicle data bus receives the feedback signal of the sensor and outputs a vehicle state clock signal; the remote information communication unit comprises a network access device and a remote information control unit, the network access device and the internet perform information interaction and output a signal to the remote information control unit and/or the remote information control unit inputs a signal to the network access device and the internet, and the remote information control unit is also connected with the vehicle data bus; and the visible light short range signal transceiver carries out information interaction with the remote information control unit. The system of the invention is used for vehicle collision prevention.
