The invention discloses a satellite positioning type data-based overspeed evidence obtaining method. The method includes the following steps that: 1, an electronic fence is set; 2, satellite positioning data of vehicles are obtained, and positioning points of which the vehicle speed is greater than a set speed limiting value are screened out as suspect points; 3, spatial analysis is carried out so as to find out positioning points located inside the electronic fence; 4, whether the vehicles are suspect vehicles are judged;5, time difference of the first suspect point and the last suspect point is adopted as interval time, and suspect vehicles in the interval time which are adopted as non-suspect points that are not screened out in the 2 step are called; 6, an interval distance is calculated; 7, the average speed of the suspect vehicles is calculated according to the interval time and the interval distance, and if the average speed of the suspect vehicles exceeds the speed limiting value, the suspect vehicles are judged as overspeed vehicles; and 8, evidence pictures of illegal overspeed are generated. With the satellite positioning type data-based overspeed evidence obtaining method of the invention adopted, the overspeed driving of drivers can be found timely, and a legal basis can be provided for traffic management departments for illegal driving of the drivers.
