The invention is suitable for the data acquisition processing technology field and provides a real-time road condition information acquisition method. The acquisition method is based on intelligent equipment with a positioning function and a cloud server cluster which establishes data communication connection with the intelligent equipment. The method comprises the following steps that A, through the intelligent equipment, a preset time interval mode is used to collect and acquire longitude and latitude position data and record a time value (T); B, the collected position data is uploaded to a cloud server through using data communication; C, the cloud server carries out motion speed and road crowding degree analysis on the received data; D, the analyzed data information is mapped to a map of a map server. In the invention, through existing intelligent data terminal, an extra investment is not needed; cost is low; a method operation is simple and a participant can easily participate in; an APP client only needs to be downloaded and an extra operation is not needed; data acquisition is completed automatically; real-time data is rapidly updated and data accuracy is increased.
