The invention is aimed at solving the problems of deformation of members and too large deflection in the hoisting process. According to the adopted technical scheme, a vertical hoist cable rope support is characterized by being composed of a first steel channel, a second steel channel, a sheet steel I, a sheet steel II and a locking device. The rope support is installed between a first cable and a second cable. The upper ends of the first cable and the second cable are connected with the top of a hoist arm. The lower ends of the first cable and the second cable are fixed to two points on a growing-up member respectively. The tail end of the first steel channel is connected with the sheet steel I. The tail end of the second steel channel is connected with the sheet steel II. A steel clamp I is installed on the side, back on to the first steel channel, of the sheet steel I. A steel clamp II is installed on the side, back on to the second steel channel, of the sheet steel II. The second steel channel is connected with the first steel channel in a buckle mode. The second steel channel and the first steel channel are fixed together through the locking device. The steel clamp I is clamped on the first cable. The steel clamp II is clamped on the second cable.
