The invention discloses an obstacle crossing robot. The obstacle crossing robot comprises a frame, and a traveling system, a carrying balance system and a control system all arranged on the frame; the traveling system comprises a main track assembly for driving the frame to move, an auxiliary track assembly for assisting the main track assembly to cross obstacles and an ant-simulating mechanical arm mechanism; the auxiliary track assembly is reversibly arranged on the frame in a vertical direction; the ant-simulating mechanical arm mechanism is arranged on an outer side of the main track assembly; the carrying balance system comprises a carrying plate reversibly arranged on the frame, a supporting hydraulic cylinder for supporting and for adjusting a gradient of the carrying plate, and a gravity pendulum for keeping the self-balancing of the carrying plate; the control system comprises a driving motor for driving the main track assembly to work, a sensor and a controller; the controller is electrically connected with the driving motor and the sensor. The obstacle crossing robot is high in adaptability, high in efficiency and good in mobility, and also capable of crossing various road sections complex in road conditions and good in balance.
