The invention relates to a GPS positioning technique and RS485 serial communication technique for a high-speed train, in particular to an early-warning method used when a high-speed train enters a tunnel. The early-warning method comprises the following steps: A. when the high-speed train enters the tunnel for the first time, through the adoption of a positioning instrument, recording the positioning information of the high-speed train entering and exiting the tunnel, and analyzing the loss and the restore of the positioning information so as to obtain the positioning information of the high-speed train in the tunnel; B. before the high-speed train runs into the tunnel once again, comparing the positioning information of the high-speed train at present with the positioning information of the high-speed train in the tunnel, which is recorded before so as to judge whether the high-speed train is about to runinto the tunnel or not; C. if the judged result is a confirmed value, through an R485 communication interface, transmitting the information that the high-speed train is about to run into the tunnel soon to a broadcasting system of the high-speed train by a microprocessor; and D. informing passengers of the information that the high-speed train is about to run into the tunnel soon by the broadcasting system, so that the the passengers of the high-speed train can be informed in advance about taking protective measures; therefore, damage to eardrums, caused by airflow pressure produced when the high-speed train runs through a narrow space at a high speed can be alleviated.
