The invention discloses a brake device. The brake device comprises a support and a pedal arm hinged to a rotating shaft of the support. The support is provided with a brake switch connected with a control system, the pedal arm is fixedly connected to a switch baffle used for limiting extension of a moving head of the brake switch, and the switch baffle makes contact with the moving head. The rotation direction of the contact surface between the switch baffle and the moving head around the rotating shaft is the same as the extension direction of the moving head. The switch baffle is arranged on the pedal arm so that the contact surface between the switch baffle and the moving head on the brake switch can rotate around the rotating shaft, the rotation direction of the contact surface is the same as the extension direction of the moving head so that the brake switch can be triggered at the highest speed. Meanwhile, the noise generated by the brake switch and the switch baffle can be lowered to the maximum degree. The invention further discloses an automobile comprising the brake device. The automobile is high in use comfort level.
