The hybrid power drive axle is characterized by comprising a gas pipe connector (1), a piston (2), a shifting fork (3), a return spring (4), a shifting fork shaft (5), a driving bevel gear (6), a differential mechanism axle shaft wheel (7), an axle shaft (8), a drive cylindrical gear (9), a thrust bearing (10), a first wet-type friction plate (11), a second wet-type friction plate (12), hubs (13), driving wheels (14), a hydraulic pipe (15), a high-pressure pipe (16), a bothway plunger pump cylindrical gear (17), a low-pressure liquid storage tank (18), a driven bevel gear (19), a bothway plunger pump (20), a gas isolation type energy accumulator (21) and a hydraulic mixing driving system. When a car is braked or goes down a long slope, a hydraulic pump participates in work, and the functions of car retarding, auxiliary braking and energy accumulation are achieved; when the car is started, the hydraulic pump has the effect of a hydraulic motor under pushing of stored hydraulic pressure or stored air pressure, and therefore the function of motor vehicle auxiliary braking is achieved; hydraulic hybrid driving directly acts on the drive axle, so that auxiliary driving is more direct and efficient; and meanwhile fuel saving and emission reduction of the car are achieved.
