A power generation amount output device that outputs the amount of power generated by an on-board solar panel to a display means, said device comprising: a power generation amount acquiring means for acquiring the amount of power generated by the solar panel; a fluctuation reducing means for reducing, in accordance with vehicle conditions of the vehicle, fluctuations in the power generation amount to be output by the display means; and a power generation amount output means for outputting, to the display means, a power generation amount in which said fluctuations have been reduced by the fluctuation reducing means.
