A vertically extending upright pillar frame of a vehicle door frame is formed by combining: a first member which has a glass run channel provided on the inner peripheral side of the door frame, the glass run channel holding a glass run; and a second member which has a bag-shaped cross-section section and which protrudes to the vehicle interior side relative to the glass run channel. The first member and the second member have mutually facing portions which face each other and are separated from each other in the direction connecting the inner peripheral side and outer peripheral side of the door frame. An fixation section is provided on the upper part of the upright pillar frame which is joined to the upper frame to form a door corner section, the fixation section being a section where the mutually facing portions of the first member and the second member are superposed and fixed in the direction connecting the inner peripheral side and outer peripheral side of the door frame. As a result of this configuration, the strength of the door corner section is increased.
