The invention discloses a front road grade detecting system for an automotive fleet. The front road grade detecting system is characterized by comprising shaft height sensors arranged on automobiles of the automotive fleet, the shaft height sensors obtain angle information of abrupt slopes and then transmit the angle information to other automobiles of the automotive fleet through signal transmitting units, and meanwhile vehicle-mounted signal receiving units are arranged on the automobiles and controls current speeds of the automobiles when receiving the angle information transmitted by other automobiles. Due to the adoption of the structure and the method, the front road grade detecting system has the advantages that manual automobile speed regulation is not needed, and automobile speed regulation is completely automatic; a very good assisting role is played in driving on special terrains; the special terrain warning effect is very obvious, namely at least one prompt role is provided for drivers under the situation that calculation errors and the like exist in the system, and the system is advantageous and harmless.
