The invention relates to an intersection timing method based on a mixed traffic flow delay model. By the adoption of the method, the quasi-optimal timing plan of a single intersection under the mixed traffic flow condition is obtained according to the characteristics of mixed traffic flow. The method comprises the steps of 1, acquiring intersection traffic parameters; 2, establishing a non-motor vehicle dissipation model; 3, establishing a mixed dissipation model; 4, conducting modeling on non-motor vehicle average delay; 5, acquiring average delay under the mixed traffic flow condition; 6, calculating the optimal timing period; 7, calculating other parameters including green time. By using the mixed traffic flow model to solve the timing parameters including the optimal intersection period, the effective intersection timing method used under the mixed traffic flow condition is provided.
