The invention discloses an energy-saving vertical transportation device. The energy-saving vertical transportation device comprises a lifting mechanism, a power mechanism, an electric power storage mechanism and a limiting mechanism, wherein the lifting mechanism comprises a winding drum, a rope and a container, the winding drum comprises a fixed part and a rotating part, the fixed part is fixedly mounted below a top fixture, the rope winds around the rotating part, and the container is fixedly mounted at the lower end of the rope; the power mechanism comprises a transmission component, a motor and a frequency converter, the transmission component is fixedly connected with the rotating part and an output shaft of the motor, and the motor is connected with the frequency converter; the electric power storage mechanism comprises a battery and a regenerative resistor, and the battery and the regenerative resistor are connected with the frequency converter respectively; the limiting mechanism comprises a limiting track and a buckle element, the limiting track is vertically mounted on a side fixture, and the buckle element is mounted on the side surface of the container. The energy-saving vertical transportation device has the advantages of energy saving and environmental protection.
