The invention discloses a vertical turnover method for a moisture separator reheater pipe system. The method comprises the following steps that a pipe system assembly is horizontally and freely arranged in a turnover truss and the end of one side of the turnover truss is provided with a fulcrum; a lifting lug of a steam cabinet of the pipe system assembly is connected to a hanging point of the movable end, opposite to the fulcrum, of the turnover truss through a hoisting part; hoisting equipment is used for driving the turnover truss to be turned from the horizontal state to the vertical state with the fulcrum as the rotation fulcrum; in the turnover process, the turnover truss provides supporting force and friction force for the pipe system assembly, the relative position with the turnover truss is automatically adjusted through the self gravity of the pipe system assembly, and after turnover, the pipe system assembly is hung only through the lifting lug and is in a vertical state. The impact force of instantaneous shift of the gravity center of the pipe system assembly during turnover can be overcome, so that turnover safety and reliability are improved. The vertical turnover method can be applied to turnover of the moisture separator reheater pipe system.
