The invention discloses a rope clip device for an overhead man-riding device. The rope clip device comprises a supporting column; a boss is arranged at the upper end of the supporting column, a transverse plate is mounted at the upper end of the boss, and the outer wall of the boss is sleeved with a supporting spring; a moving plate is mounted at the lower end of the supporting spring; a first groove is formed in the left side of the upper end of the moving plate, a first L-shaped clamping block is hinged into the first groove, and a first tension spring is hinged to the top end of the first L-shaped clamping block; a second groove is formed in the right side of the first groove, a second L-shaped clamping block is hinged into the second groove, and a second tension spring is hinged to the top end of the second L-shaped clamping block; a wedged block is arranged on the second L-shaped clamping block and mounted at the lower end of the transverse plate, and the front side and the rear side of the lower end face of the moving plate are each provided with a V-shaped guiding groove. The rope clip device has the advantages of being reasonable in structure design, low in production and manufacturing cost, convenient to use and the like, and the rope clip device for the overhead man-riding device is high in safety and reliability.
