The invention provides a bus tracking query system and belongs to the field of bus query. The bus tracking query system comprises a bus stop Zigbee node module, a controller module, a data center module, a PC end management module, a GPRS satellite base station and a user terminal. The output end of the bus stop Zigbee node module is connected with the input end of the controller module; the input end of the PC end management module is connected with the output end of the controller module; the data center module is connected with the controller module; the GPRS satellite base station is connected with the controller module through an internet; and the user terminal is in wireless connection with the GPRS satellite base station, or a user terminal module and a wireless module are in wireless connection. The bus stop Zigbee node module navigates the specific positions of buses on the line in real time, so that a user can navigate the specific positions of buses and inquire the arrival time of the buses through the user terminal, thereby solving the problem of wasting time when waiting for the bus.
