The invention relate to an image sharpening analysis method. The method includes (1) providing a rock image sharpening analysis system used for a submersible and comprising a submersible body, a sharpening identification device and a single-chip microprocessor, wherein the sharpening identification device and the single-chip microprocessor are both disposed on the submersible body, the sharpening identification device is used for performing sharpening treatment on underwater images and detecting whether rocks exist underwater or not and the single-chip microprocessor is connected with the sharpening identification device and is used for performing treatment on related rock information when that the rocks exist underwater is determined and sending treatment results back to the overwater; and (2) running an analysis system. By adopting the method, sharpening treatment can be performed on underwater images and related information of underwater rocks can be acquired automatically.
