The invention relates to a lifter first-rope height difference judging method. A group of friction pads and friction pad rope slots is arranged on a lifting roller of a lifter at intervals; first ropes are suspended in the friction pad rope slots in a one-to-one correspondence mode; end parts of the first ropes are connected with a container through a rope regulating oil cylinder; a guide positioning plate is arranged at the lower end of a bottom lead screw of the rope regulating oil cylinder; a driving lever is additionally arranged on a guide plate and slide blocks are arranged at the two sides of the driving lever for recording stroke of the driving lever; and depth difference of each rope slot is calculated according to the stroke. According to the lifter first-rope height difference judging method, the characteristic that the guide positioning plate of the bottom lead screw of the rope regulating oil cylinder in a lifter operation process dynamically moves is utilized to judge the height difference value of first ropes according to positions of the slide blocks, so that not only is the problem that position difference of the first ropes at special points only can be checked in a conventional first-rope height difference judging method solved, but also the problem that the value in the conventional first-rope height difference judging process dynamically changes and cannot be accurately recorded is solved. The lifter first-rope height difference judging method is suitable for a multi-rope friction type lifter, and is especially suitable for first-rope height difference judgment of a well tower type multi-rope friction lifter.
