The invention discloses a turtle shell opening and closing system of a sea turtle robot. The turtle shell opening and closing system comprises a main body bracket and a turtle shell arranged above the main body bracket, wherein the turtle shell comprises a plurality of shell pieces; one ends, positioned at the edge of the turtle shell, of the shell pieces, are hinged through a support mechanism; each shell piece is provided with a connecting rod mechanism for realizing opening and closing of the corresponding shell piece; a power source is mounted on the main body bracket; a screw rod is directly or indirectly mounted at the output end of the power source; a screw nut is arranged on the outer surface of the screw rod in a sleeving manner; one end of each connecting rod mechanism is hinged to the screw nut, and the other end of each connecting rod mechanism is hinged to the corresponding shell piece. According to the invention, one power source is adopted to realize the function that the turtle shell synchronously opens and closes in the shape of a multiple-petal flower, solves the problem in the prior art that one power source can open and close one shell piece only, reduces the number of the power source, improves the efficiency, increases the synchronization of the shell pieces, and is simple in control, and is applicable to the sea turtle robot.
