The invention discloses a control method and system of multi-locomotives. The control method and system are used for multi-locomotives. The multi-locomotives comprise a brake control unit and a brake-cylinder control module. The control method comprises the following steps: the brake control unit receives a control instruction sent by a leading locomotive, generates a brake-cylinder pressure generation instruction according to the received control instruction, and sends the brake-cylinder pressure generation instruction to the brake-cylinder control module; the brake-cylinder control module outputs brake-cylinder pressure which is equal to the brake-cylinder pressure output by the leading locomotive to brake cylinders of the multi-locomotives according to the brake-cylinder pressure generation instruction, so that the brake cylinders of the multi-locomotives are controlled. According to the method, the multi-locomotives are unified to brake or relieve by the control instruction, and when the brake cylinders of the multi-locomotives are braked or relieved, multi-devices are not needed, the brake control unit and the brake-cylinder control module of the multi-locomotives directly brake or relieve the brake cylinders, so that the synchronism between the multi-locomotives and the leading locomotive is improved, and the running safety is guaranteed.
