The purpose of the present invention is to provide a technique for preventing separation in the connecting portion of a butt joint in an endless handrail. This escalator endless handrail is provided with: a thermoplastic resin member (1) which is formed by sandwiching a flat section (9) with an opposite first curved part (4x) and second curved part (4y) and which comprises a seam (6a) welded in the connecting portion; a plain weave fabric (2) which is bonded to the inside of the thermoplastic resin member (1) and which covers the flat section (9), the first curved part (4x) and the second curved part (4y); a first contact fabric (3x) which is arranged on the side of the connecting portion (6) facing the first curved part (4x) and has a bottom portion (3b) and a divergent portion (3a); and a second contact fabric (3y) which is arranged on the side of the connecting portion facing the second curved part (4y) and has a bottom portion (3b) and a divergent portion (3a). The divergent portion (3a) of the first contact fabric is bonded from above the plain weave fabric (2) to the inside of the first curved part (4x), and the divergent portion (3a) of the second contact fabric (3y) is bonded from above the plain weave fabric (2) to the inside of the second curved part (4y).
