The invention provides a lifting system for a boarding bridge. The lifting system comprises a boarding bridge channel, two combined oil cylinders, an outer casing pipe and a portal. The boarding bridge channel is arranged on the portal in an erected mode through the outer casing pipe. The two combined oil cylinders are symmetrically distributed on the left side and the right side of the portal. Each combined oil cylinder comprises a first single cylinder and a second single cylinder, wherein a piston rod of the first single cylinder is hinged to the portal, a piston rod of the second single cylinder is hinged to the outer casing pipe of the boarding bridge, and the piston rod of the first single cylinder and the piston rod of the second single cylinder simultaneously move in opposite directions to control the boarding bridge channel to ascend and descend. Thus, in the lifting process of the boarding bridge channel, the sum of the strokes of the first single cylinders and the second single cylinders in the combined oil cylinders is equal to the lifting stroke of a movable channel, the problem that producing and machining of long-stroke hydraulic oil cylinders of the boarding bridge are difficult is solved, and the problem of instability of piston rods due to the fact that the piston rods of oil cylinders stretch too long is also solved.
