A rail vehicle suspension brake mechanism comprises a front vehicle body, a rear vehicle body, a connecting wheel and brake frames; a front wheel is fixed in the front of the front vehicle body, a rear wheel is fixed on the rear portion of the rear vehicle body, the front vehicle body and the rear vehicle body are connected through the connecting wheel, and the brake frames are arranged on the front vehicle body and the rear vehicle body; each brake frame comprises a base, two left supports and two right supports are hinged to the base, a left top plate is arranged at the top ends of the left supports with the included angle of 110-120 degrees, a right top plate is arranged at the top ends of the right supports with the included angle of 110-120 degrees, two fixed bases are fixed to the bottom of the left top plate, two fixed bases are fixed to the bottom of the right top plate, the fixed bases are located at the outer sides of the left supports and the outer sides of the right supports, and idler wheels are arranged in the fixed bases and hinged to the fixed bases through shafts; a left electromagnet is arranged on the left supports, and a right electromagnet is arranged on the right supports and corresponds to the left electromagnet in position. The rail vehicle suspension brake mechanism completes brake through the brake frames suspended at the bottoms of the vehicle bodies without abrading rail wheels and has the function of balancing the vehicle bodies under the non-brake condition.
