The invention discloses a boosting control system of an eddy current retarder. The boosting control system comprises a storage battery, a boosting circuit, a first control unit, a second control unit, a drive circuit, a brake pedal position sensor and the eddy current retarder. The first control unit is connected with the brake pedal position sensor through an analog signal interface, connected with an ABS control signal, an eddy current retarded work display signal and an ABS display signal through I/O interfaces, connected with an automobile speed signal through a pulse capture interface, and in data communication with the second control unit through a CAN bus. The second control unit is in data communication with an eddy current retarder temperature signal, a force moment signal and a current signal through analog signal interfaces, and is connected with the drive circuit through a PWM interface. The storage battery is connected with the drive circuit through the boosting circuit. The boosting circuit is connected with the eddy current retarder through the drive circuit. The boosting control system is small in passing current, uniform in stress, small in caused eddy current retarder temperature rise, good in braking performance constancy and capable of improving the riding comfort.
