The invention provides a trunk line cooperative control method for the intersection of two phase signals, and can solve problems that the green time is wasted and vehicles at the intersection are blocked because a conventional bidirectional green-wave control effect is poor. The method comprises the following steps: (1) designating a single cooperative control region according to an overall control strategy; (2) obtaining the phase differences between the two phase intersections in the cooperative control region and a trunk line upstream intersection and a trunk line downstream intersection, the minimum green-light time of cooperative phases of the two phase intersections, and the minimum green-light time t of non-cooperative phases; (3) determining a public period T of a cooperative control scheme; (4) determining a signal timing dial scheme of a conventional intersection, and determining a green-wave bandwidth t of green wave coordination; (5) judging whether green wave bands of the two phase intersections are set in the same signal period or not; (6) determining a signal timing dial scheme for two periods of the two phase intersections; (7) determining a cooperative control scheme of a signal cooperative control region.
