The invention relates to a railway carriage positive temperature coefficient (PTC) thermistor electric heating system comprising a frame, an evaporation fan, an electric heater, an evaporator, a wind adjusting door, a condensation fan, a condenser, a damper, a gas-liquid separation device, a pressure switch and a compressor; the electric heater is arranged between the evaporation fan and the evaporator, and fixed on the frame. The railway carriage positive temperature coefficient (PTC) thermistor electric heating system is reasonable in structure design, convenient in mounting usage, high in control flexibility, fast and obvious in heating effect, saves energy, and the electric heater is long in whole heating time; a control unit needs no frequent starting, thus solving the problems that a conventional heater is large in power consumption, and slow in heating effect.
