The invention relates to a passenger car engine suspension system which comprises a left front mounting bracket, a right front mounting bracket, a left rear mounting bracket, a right rear mounting bracket, an engine mounting left tail longitudinal beam assembly, an engine mounting right tail longitudinal beam assembly and a damping rubber pad, wherein the damping rubber pad comprises a metal base, an outer metal framework welded on the metal base, an inner metal framework embedded in the outer metal framework, as well as an upper rubber pad, a left rubber pad and a right rubber pad which are arranged between the outer metal framework and the inner metal framework; and the planes of the inner side surfaces of the upper rubber pad, the left rubber pad and the right rubber pad enclose a triangular cavity. Through the technical scheme, the mechanism has good damping and noise reduction functions, improves the comfort of the entire vehicle, and is favorable for weight reduction of the entire vehicle.
