The invention relates to a soft start control circuit of a construction elevator. The soft start control circuit comprises a three-phase motor connected with a three-phase power supply through a main contactor and is characterized by also comprising a silicon controlled rectifier voltage-regulating module composed of at least three silicon controlled rectifiers and a control circuit. The silicon controlled rectifier voltage-regulating module is connected in series between the main contactor and the three-phase power binding posts of the three-phase motor. The output signal of the control circuit is input into the signal input terminal of the silicon controlled rectifier voltage-regulating module and is used for controlling the conduction angles of the three silicon controlled rectifiers in the silicon controlled rectifier voltage-regulating module. A bypass contactor is installed between the three-phase power input and output binding posts of the silicon controlled rectifier voltage-regulating module. The soft start control circuit also comprises a brake circuit composed of a RC circuit and brake line, wherein the RC circuit is composed of a capacitor C1 and a resistor R1, and the brake line is in powered linkage with a motor. The soft start control circuit achieves smooth start, stable stop, and no vibration. Further, since the motor is started with low current, energy is saved and impact on a power grid is reduced.
