The invention discloses a warning method for a traffic-violation-prone road section. The method is characterized in that a cloud server and at least one cloud terminal in communication connection with the cloud server are arranged; and each cloud terminal is in communication connection with a traffic violation management information database of a designated region. All terminals transmit obtained regional information and traffic violation management information of the designated regions to the cloud server. A vehicle-mounted navigation unit and a driving computer are installed on a vehicle. After the vehicle determines the location of the vehicle by a vehicle-mounted GPS of the vehicle-mounted navigation unit, the vehicle-mounted navigation unit carries out communication connection with the cloud server to obtain the regional information, stored into the cloud server, of the location of the vehicle as well as road section information with the number of times of traffic violation larger than M in the regional information; and when the vehicle drives to approach the road section, the driving computer carries out voice prompting on the driver. With the method, the driver can be informed of the traffic-violation-prone road section information, so that the drive can drive the vehicle cautiously and thus the traffic violation phenomenon can be reduced.
