The invention provides a traffic light emergency control system. A solar cell panel is electrically connected with a storage battery; the storage battery supplies electricity for a signal control device, a circuit control device, traffic lights, a photographic device and a signal transmission device by a power source management unit; the signal control device outputs a control signal to the circuit control device; the circuit control device controls the states of the traffic lights; the photographic device is used for transmitting the frame information of a monitoring point to a signal receiving device of a monitoring room by the signal transmission device; and the signal receiving device is used for displaying a frame of the monitoring point by an imaging device. According to the traffic light emergency control system, the solar cell panel and the storage battery are used for storing electricity energy; when outage happens, the storage battery supplies electricity for the traffic light emergency control system; since the frame information of the monitoring point, which is shot by the photographic device is transmitted to the monitoring room, the traffic condition of an intersection can be conveniently known in time by a supervision department; and solar energy can be obtained anywhere, and power supply can be realized nearby, so that long-distance transmission is not needed.
