The invention discloses a traffic light and an information interaction system between the traffic light and a driver, and can enable the driver to grasp master state and time information of the traffic light in front in advance and properly adjust vehicle speed in an allowable range, thereby improving the probability of meeting a ''green light''. The technical scheme is that GPS information of the traffic light in front is obtained through wireless communication, combined with the current GPS information of the vehicle, distance between a current position of the vehicle and the traffic light is calculated according to a formula AB=R*arccos[(sinb1)*(sinb2)+(cosb1)*(cosb2)*cos(a1-a2)], and combined with working parameters, a current light color and countdown remaining time of the traffic light, a vehicle speed range for the vehicle to smoothly pass is calculated according to v=s/t. The information interaction system provided by the invention is novel in method, and can effectively reduce start and stop times of the vehicle at crossroads, thereby reducing energy consumption, reducing waiting time, and improving passing efficiency, and the information interaction system belongs to innovation in the field of intelligent transportation.
