The invention relates to a novel energy-saving electric hoist which comprises a winding drum. A speed reducer is connected to the right portion of the winding drum. A motor is connected to the input end of the speed reducer. An inverter circuit is connected to the input end of the motor. A rectified three-phase circuit is connected to the input end of the inverter circuit. A three-phase power source is connected to the input end of the rectified three-phase circuit. A voltage signal collecting circuit and a current signal collecting circuit are connected to the output end of the inverter circuit. A controller is connected to the output end of the voltage signal collecting circuit. A speed signal collector is connected to the input end of the controller. A display circuit and a driving isolation circuit are connected to the output end of the controller. The output end of the driving isolation circuit is connected with the inverter circuit. The output end of the current signal collecting circuit is connected with the controller. A lifting hook is connected to the lower portion of the winding drum through a rope. The novel energy-saving electric hoist has the beneficial effects of being simple in structure, low in running cost, convenient and fast to use and high in balance performance.
