The invention relates to a novel triangular support for escalator stairs. The novel triangular support for the escalator stairs comprises a triangular support body which is installed with the escalator stairs in a connected mode. The support body comprises a horizontal installation section, an upward protruding installation section and a composite cross beam supporting surface which are located on the top side of the support body and sequentially arranged from front to back, and the front side of the support body is provided with a main shaft seat positioning type installation hole located on the upper portion and an auxiliary wheel seat positioning type installation area located on the lower portion. By means of the novel triangular support for the escalator stairs, a condition is created for high and low positioning installation of a triangular support, a benchmark is provided for positioning installation of a foot plate on the triangular support, the problems of excursion and displacement of a main shaft seat when the main shaft seat is installed are solved, materials and manpower are more saved, and the novel triangular support for the escalator stairs is convenient to install and easy to operate.
